The Advanced SCUBA course is focused on providing additional experiences and advancing your SCUBA skills. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy, experience a deep diving cognitive test and three other specialty dives.

Itinerary

Pool Session

Thursday, July 30th, 2026 from 6:00 - 10:00 PM at The Scuba Dive.

Open Water Session
Friday, July 31st, 2026 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at Sand Hollow - Night & Shore
Saturday, August 1st, 2026 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM at Sand Hollow - Deep, Navigation & Buoyancy

Rental gear is not provided for this class but can be rented for a discounted rate of $50.00.

 


Cancellation Policy

Once an eLearning code has been used to access the online portion of the course, $65.00 of the course is no longer refundable.   

No-call, no-shows, or cancellations within 24 hours of the event waives the right to a refund. If you would like to re-schedule to another class, there will be an $85.00 re-scheduling fee to cover the Open Water Dive Sites. That must be paid before re-scheduling you.

Cancellations prior to 24 hours of the event will be offered in-store credit of the amount paid. 

Cancellations prior to 72 hours will receive a refund of the amount paid (minus the eLearning code IF it has been redeemed).


Overview

If you’ve taken your Open Water Scuba Diver course and are now ready to expand your knowledge but would like to see what is out there first, then the Advanced Adventure Diver course is for you!  This is your next step after completing your Open Water or Junior Open Water Certification.

This course is designed to build confidence, expand your skills, and introduce divers to new adventures in diving.  The Advanced Adventure course will give you an overview of five different specialties. Two of the required specialties are the Deep Diver and Navigation Diver specialties which are the foundation of continuing diver education. Your Instructor will assist you in choosing which three additional dives would best fit your interests depending on location of dives.

Individual SCUBA equipment is available to rent, but is NOT part of the course fee.  Personal equipment (such as mask, fins, snorkel, & dive flashlight) are also not provided during the class.

Additional fee for entry at Open Water sites 

Additional Info

Students must provide full SCUBA equipment, including BCD, cylinder/tank, regulator with computer & compass.   You can rent this SCUBA equipment for $50.

*Other items that are highly recommended but not required or provided....tank marker, dive knife, trilobite, gear bag, underwater slate, & SMB (items cannot be shared amongst students in same class).
