The Advanced Open Water Diver course is focused on providing additional experiences and advancing your SCUBA skills. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy, experience a deep diving cognitive test, practice night/limited visibility skills & complete a thorough dive computer review.

Cancellation Policy

No-call, no-shows, or cancellations within 24 hours of the event waives the right to a refund. Cancellations prior to 24 hours of the event will be offered in-store credit of the amount paid.  Cancellations prior to 72 hours will receive a refund of the amount paid. 

Overview

If you’ve taken your Open Water Scuba Diver course and are now ready to expand your knowledge but would like to see what is out there first, then the Advanced Adventure Diver course is for you!  This is your next step after completing your Open Water or Junior Open Water Certification.


This course is designed to build confidence, expand your skills, and introduce divers to new adventures in diving.  The Advanced Adventure course will give you an overview of five different specialties. Two of the required specialties are the Deep Diver and Navigation Diver specialties which are the foundation of continuing diver education. The other 3 dives are from the Night, Buoyancy & Computer specialties.

Exclusions

Individual SCUBA equipment is available to rent, but is NOT part of the course fee.  Personal equipment (such as mask, fins, snorkel, & dive flashlight) are also not provided during the class.

Additional fee for entry at Open Water sites approx $30 per day

Additional Info

Students must provide full SCUBA equipment, including dive cylinder, regulator system with computer, compass, dive light, tank marker, SMB, dive knife or trilobite, gear bag and other specialized equipment that may be required by the type of dive being conducted. Rental gear is not provided for this class but can be rented for a discounted rate of $50.00
