Pickup & Departure
Check in at the main hut for your reservation. Arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the start of your reservation to give yourself plenty of time to check in and get ready to hit the water. If you are late and/or you don't get on the water at your scheduled reservation start time, your rental time WILL NOT be extended.
Drop-Off & Return
Make sure you return to the dock at or before the end of your reservation time. You must check your boat back in at the returns window to stop your rental. Late Fees of up to $200 will be applied for rentals not returned on time.
Things To Bring
You will be required to present a valid state-issued ID that matches the credit card used to make the reservation. We encourage you to leave your valuables at home and bring only the essential items you'll need on the water. We have cubbies for storage of towels, shoes, and sunscreen and rent dry bags for items you wish to keep safe while on the water. Rowing Dock has water and Gatorade for sale, but you are welcome to bring your own beverages and snacks to take out on the water. NO GLASS!!
Please email Manager@rowingdock.com with all cancellation requests.
Our Fishing Kayak rentals are perfectly outfitted to help you haul in that big catch! Make a half day (4 hour) or full day (8 hour) reservation today and see what you can reel in.
Our Fishing Kayaks are designed to work with a variety of rigging systems and come with an adjustable stadium-style seat, rod holders, a kayak anchor, a crate for your gear, a paddle, and a lifejacket.
We'll provide the boat, but you’ll need to bring your valid Texas Fishing License and your own fishing pole, bait and lures, etc. We also highly recommend that you bring sunscreen, water, and snacks to make your Lady Bird Lake fishing trip more comfortable.
A Texas Fishing License is required to fish on Lady Bird Lake.
